# Accept an invite link

> Join a ClearSpend workspace from an email invitation before you can use the app.

Join a workspace an admin already created by opening the invite link in your email (`https://app.clearspend.ai/invite/<token>`). ClearSpend validates the token and adds your account to that organization after you sign in.

## What invitees see

    Click **Accept invitation** (or the equivalent button) in the invite email. The link opens in your browser.

  <Step title="Review workspace details">
    ClearSpend shows the organization name, your assigned role (Member, Admin, or Viewer), and who invited you.

  <Step title="Sign in or create an account">
    * If you already have a ClearSpend login, sign in with the **same email** the invite was sent to.
    * If you are new, complete sign-up (magic link or Google) using that email address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept">
    After authentication, confirm **Accept invitation**. ClearSpend adds you to the workspace and routes you into the app. Invited users typically **skip full onboarding** because the org already exists.

## Invalid or expired invites

The page explains why an invite cannot be used, for example:

* The token expired or was revoked
* The invite was already accepted
* You are signed in with a different email than the one invited

Ask your admin to send a fresh invite from **Team → Members → + Invite team member** if needed.

## Difference from Request to join
