Explore ClearSpend on a demo hostname with sample data before you connect Gmail, bank feeds, or your own invoices. The demo is separate from your company’s live workspace.

How demo mode behaves

When you open the app on the demo host:
  • URLs omit the usual /{orgId} prefix (for example /subscriptions instead of /org_xxx/subscriptions).
  • The sidebar may show a fixed label such as Demo instead of your organization name.
  • Data is shared demonstration content; changes may reset or not persist.
Demo detection is automatic in the browser when the hostname matches the operator’s DEMO_HOSTNAME configuration. You do not toggle demo mode inside a normal production workspace.

  • Evaluators getting a guided tour before signup
  • Internal training without connecting real Gmail or bank data
