File size and count limits

WhatsApp stores invoices and receipts as proof. It does not parse bank or card statements into charges. For statement spend, use Upload statement or Plaid.

Statement CSV and PDF tips

  • Use Import transactions → Upload statement (not invoice upload) for card or bank statements.
  • PDF and CSV both work for statements.
  • Include columns for date, merchant/description, and amount when you upload CSV.
  • ClearSpend matches merchants to known vendors. Unknown rows may create new subscriptions or land in Review.

Invoice and receipt formats

  • PDF works for individual invoices and receipts.
  • Scanned PDFs and photos are supported. OCR extracts vendor, amount, and date.
  • Multi-page PDFs are treated as one document.

Integration limits (by plan)

Integration caps depend on your ClearSpend plan. Check Settings → Billing for your workspace Integrations usage meter. When you are at the limit, Connect is blocked until you upgrade or remove a connection. See Billing.
