Discovery happens in two waves. The first scan captures what’s visible from your connected integrations within a few minutes. Apps that only show up in invoice emails are added as those emails are parsed, usually within an hour or two of connecting Gmail. If something is still missing after a day, upload an invoice manually to seed it.
An app is marked Active when there’s a recent login, OAuth grant, or charge. Inactive means ClearSpend hasn’t seen any of those signals in your selected time window, which is a good prompt to review it for cancellation.
Yes. Each subscription is stored in its native currency (you’ll see entries like AED 185.68 or NPR 1,673,278) and converted to your workspace default for the totals on the dashboard.
Yes, if you opt in. Connect your card uses Plaid for read-only transaction sync — ClearSpend never sees full card numbers and does not initiate payments. You can also use invoices, receipts, OAuth signals, and CSV statement uploads without linking a card.
Spend is everything we attribute to a subscription, whether or not we’ve matched it to a document. Reconciled is the subset that has supporting documentation. The gap between them is your reconciliation backlog.
Owners and Admins. Rules apply to the entire workspace; a rule that filters out “grepsr” affects all members.
