If your workspace has Slack connected, ClearSpend sends renewal and document alerts as Slack messages in addition to email. Messages include direct links back to ClearSpend.
Slack notifications go to the Owner only. Email notifications go to all recipients configured under Settings → Notifications.
To connect Slack, go to Integrations and connect the Slack card. See Slack integration.

Renewal reminder

ClearSpend Slack notification for upcoming subscription renewals

Slack message for upcoming subscription renewals: table of subscriptions, cost, billing, and days until due, with a Manage subscriptions button.

Sent when a renewal is 1, 3, 7, or 15 days away (based on your notification settings). Same details as the upcoming renewal email.

Monthly renewal digest

Slack message for monthly renewal digest: list of upcoming renewals with vendor, amount, renewal date, and owner, plus a View All button.

At the start of each month, ClearSpend posts Upcoming Subscription Renewals — This Month in your configured channel.

Invoice upload request

ClearSpend Slack notification for invoice upload request

Slack message for invoice upload request: vendor and billing period, expiration time, requester, and an Upload Invoice button.

When someone selects Request Invoices on a subscription, the bot sends Invoice Upload Requested to the configured channel. The message includes an Upload Invoice button that opens a secure upload page.
